Therapy Intensives
What is an ERP Therapy Intensive?
An Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) Therapy Intensive is a focused, short-term treatment option designed to help you make meaningful progress with anxiety, OCD, or specific fears—quickly and effectively.
This format is ideal if:
You don’t have time for weekly sessions.
Life can be busy, and committing to traditional weekly therapy isn’t always realistic. An intensive gives you the opportunity to do deeper work over a shorter period—allowing for faster progress without the long-term time commitment. Weekly therapy hasn’t been enough to break the cycle, and you need focused, structured ERP that fits your demanding schedule. You have a specific fear, anxiety, or OCD theme you’re ready to tackle.
Intensives are especially helpful if you’re clear on what you want to work through and feel ready to face it head-on. Whether it's contamination fears, intrusive thoughts, phobias, or other anxiety-related challenges, we’ll work together in a focused and structured way. You’re motivated and ready to make a change.
This format is best for parents, small business owners or entrepreneurs who feel prepared to engage fully in the process. If you're ready to break the cycle and take bold steps toward freedom from anxiety or OCD, an ERP intensive can be a powerful way to start.
Why Choose a Therapy Intensive?
Therapy intensives offer short-term, targeted support to help you make meaningful progress faster. Whether you're working through anxiety, OCD, or a specific fear, intensives allow you to focus deeply on your goals—without the long wait of weekly sessions. Plus, you’ll benefit from a flexible schedule that fits your lifestyle, making it easier to prioritize your mental health without disrupting your routine.
The Therapist
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with specialized training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy, the gold standard for treating anxiety and OCD. Beyond my clinical expertise, I also bring lived experience—I’ve personally navigated and overcome fears and anxiety myself. This combination of professional training and personal understanding allows me to offer compassionate, effective support with insight into what real change feels like from the inside out.
What to Expect
Before We Begin:
Before the intensive starts, we complete a comprehensive intake and history-gathering process to fully understand your OCD patterns, triggers, and current coping strategies. You’ll receive a structured ERP workbook that guides you through psychoeducation, hierarchy development, and values-based goals. This preparation ensures the intensive is focused, personalized, and aligned with what matters most to you.
The Intensive:
Over four days, we’ll focus on the anxiety, OCD, or phobia that’s been holding you back. Step by step, we’ll gently practice facing fears together while learning how to break old patterns that no longer serve you. You’ll never be asked to do anything without support—we’ll go at a pace that feels challenging but doable, with plenty of breaks along the way. Sessions are active and collaborative, with in-session exposures and real-time coaching. The workbook is used throughout the intensive to track exposures, reflect on learning, and complete integrated assignments between sessions to reinforce progress.
Integration Support:
About a week later, we’ll meet again for a follow-up session. You’ll continue using your workbook to complete structured at-home ERP assignments, strengthen response prevention skills, and generalize gains to daily life. Follow-up support sessions help you troubleshoot challenges, refine exposures, and build confidence in maintaining progress long after the intensive ends.
